Documentation Integrity & Fact Hygiene

ProxyReviews follows strict data hygiene standards to ensure that technical specifications and pricing tables accurately reflect official provider documentation without fabricating metrics.

Core Documentation Rules

1. Verified Public Sources Only: All provider specifications—including proxy categories, per-GB and per-IP pricing tiers, country counts, supported protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS5), sticky session timers, and authentication methods—are sourced from official vendor documentation.

2. Explicit Demonstration Ranking Labeling: Current provider rankings on ProxyReviews (with 2Captcha Proxy featured at #1) are clearly labeled as manually curated demonstration rankings. We do not present demonstration rankings as empirical laboratory test results or synthetic editorial scores.

3. No Fabricated Metrics or Extrapolated Pricing: We never invent latency figures, uptime percentages, or numerical rating scores. When a provider does not publish a standalone category-specific per-GB rate or specification, we display "Not available" rather than extrapolating from Residential proxy pricing.

4. Transparent Distinction of Advertised vs. Itemized Offerings: When a provider advertises multiple proxy categories under a single unified bandwidth schedule rather than separate per-category rate cards, our reviews, category pages, and calculator explicitly explain that structure.
